RepBlock (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
RepBlock uses Apple’s FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks to let you select apps, app categories, or websites to block and unlock.
This data is handled through Apple’s system frameworks. RepBlock does not read the content of your apps, messages, browsing pages, or websites. We only use the app/category/site selection and blocking state needed to provide the locking feature.
RepBlock uses camera access to count pushups during unlock challenges.
Camera frames are processed on-device using Apple system APIs. We do not record, store, upload, or share photos or videos from your camera. The camera is used only while the pushup unlock screen is active.
Stored locally on your device:
This information is used to run RepBlock, display your stats, and relock apps when earned time expires.
If you allow notifications, RepBlock may send local notifications such as unlock warnings, relock confirmations, or shortcuts back to the App. Notification permission status may be stored locally so the App and its extensions can show the correct controls.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat.
We use RevenueCat to check subscription status, restore purchases, and manage premium access. We may receive purchase-related information such as subscription status, product identifier, renewal/expiration status, and an anonymous app user identifier. We do not receive your full payment card details.
RepBlock uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create an anonymous user identifier. This identifier may be used to connect subscription status, crash diagnostics, feedback, and data deletion requests. It is not created from your name, email address, or phone number.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and improve the product.
Analytics events may include anonymous events such as onboarding started/completed, paywall shown, unlock started/completed, pushup counts, minutes unlocked, and relock events. We do not use analytics for advertising, tracking across other apps/websites, or personalized ads.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to improve stability. Crash reports may include device model, iOS version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic information, and an anonymous app/user identifier.
If you send feedback in the App, we may store your feedback message, anonymous user identifier, device information, app version, and submission time in Firebase Firestore so we can review and respond to product issues.
