RepBlock – Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the RepBlock mobile application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Provider

The App is provided by:
New Dev Way
Registered in Poland
NIP: 6272763927

2. Use of the App

RepBlock helps you limit access to selected apps, app categories, and websites using Apple Screen Time, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks.

The App lets you unlock app time by completing pushup challenges detected with your device camera.

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful and personal purposes
  • Not attempt to bypass, tamper with, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App’s blocking features
  • Not use the App in a way that may harm your device, the App, Apple services, or other users
  • Only perform physical activity that is safe for your health and environment

We may limit or suspend functionality if you misuse the App or violate these Terms.

3. Physical Activity Disclaimer

RepBlock includes pushup-based unlock challenges. The App is not medical, fitness, or health advice.

You are responsible for deciding whether pushups or any physical activity are safe for you. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, discomfort, or any unusual symptoms. Consult a medical professional before using the App if you have health concerns, injuries, or medical conditions.

We are not responsible for injuries or health issues resulting from physical activity performed while using the App, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

4. Permissions and Device Requirements

RepBlock requires certain iOS permissions and system capabilities to work properly, including Screen Time / FamilyControls permission and camera permission.

Some features may also require notifications, an active subscription, and compatible iOS versions/devices.

The App’s blocking and unlock behavior depends on Apple’s frameworks and iOS system behavior. We do not guarantee that blocking will work perfectly in every situation, on every iOS version, or for every app or website.

5. Accounts and Local Data

RepBlock does not require you to create a traditional account with an email address or password.

The App may use anonymous identifiers provided by Firebase and RevenueCat to support subscriptions, diagnostics, feedback, and deletion requests.

Your settings, blocked app selections, pushup history, unlock history, and local statistics are primarily stored on your device. If you delete the App, local data may be lost and may not be recoverable.

Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription. See Section 6.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App may offer paid subscription features.

Purchases are processed securely by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, according to Apple’s App Store terms.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in:
iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies. We cannot guarantee refunds or process App Store refunds directly.

7. Third-Party Services

RepBlock relies on Apple frameworks and third-party services for app blocking, subscriptions, diagnostics, analytics, anonymous authentication, feedback, and related functionality. These may include:

  • Apple Screen Time, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity
  • Apple App Store payments
  • RevenueCat for subscription management
  • Firebase Authentication for anonymous identifiers
  • Firebase Analytics for usage analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting
  • Firebase Firestore for feedback and deletion request handling

Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, limitations, policy changes, or issues caused by third-party services or Apple system frameworks.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including software, design, branding, text, graphics, and related materials, belong to New Dev Way or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App unless permitted by law.

9. User Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them to improve the App without obligation to compensate you.

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or unlawful content through the feedback feature.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will block all distractions perfectly
  • Pushup detection will be accurate in every environment
  • Your productivity, focus, or habits will improve
  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices/iOS versions
  • Apple Screen Time or FamilyControls behavior will remain unchanged

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, subscription issues handled by Apple, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, abuse third-party services, or create legal, security, or operational risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date above or providing notice in the App where appropriate.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law and applicable EU regulations, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
